Normally I would just try and figure this out until I am blue in the face...but yeah..
So couple weeks ago my desktop took a shit. No not literally but that would have been cool.
Restarted it and then all of a sudden it wont boot up anymore.
Here is what it says:
Award BootBlock BIOS v1.0
Copyright 2000, Award Software, Inc.
BIOS ROM checksum error
Keyboard error or no keyboard present
Detecting IDE ATAPI device....
Found CDROM, try to Boot from it . . . FAIL
Found CDROM, try to Boot from it . . . FAIL
Detecting floppy drive A Media . . .
Drive A error. System Halt
I did some looking around on google real fast and thought it might be the battery on the mobo went out... replaced it and nadda.
So now what? I really don't want to have to buy a new mobo. or maybe hd went out? any ideas or quick things to check?
Thanks guys.
