What are some good ones in the metropolitan areas? Under $15 per person. Not the ones that are just so-so... i'm talking about the ones that make you want to keep going back :D

If you like japanese food/sushi there is a really good place on Scottsdale Road and Stetson. Its called Kyoto, and its in old town scottsdale, which means lots of hotties. They have some of the best sushi in town and its on the cheaper side too. I eat there almost every day for lunch, cuz its right behind my shop.

Grilled Expidition or whatever on mill has one of the best burgers i have ever had and it's only like $9

I think i've seen that sushi bar before... across from the Billet Bar? There were lots of hot women there on the Sat night i was by there.

its not across from the billet bar that's another good one, but a little more pricey. Kyoto is alittle north of the billet bar, its at the northern edge of old town.

Sakana Sushi bar and grill..... if u like sushi. Great prices and great portions. I used to tend bar at the one in Ahwatukee, but there is one on 59th ave and teh 101 and one in scottsdale as well

Depends what u are looking for, quality food at a good price or just hot tail runnin around? Kona isnt too bad, food is o.k., Ra is way overpriced for small portions. But to each their own.

thats why you go there during happy hour :mrgreen: 1/2 price makes that place affordable. but my favorite place so far is Ah-So. kinda pricey.. but DAMN good.

i just like Ah-So a bit more cause its "easier" to get a table at the group tables vs just a booth (i like the show u get while they make ur food)

They do Teppan at a lot of places, but they do a good job at Ah-SO.... Kyoto has great Teppan as well. They lit some girl on fire at the Sakana i used to work at bout 4 months ago....

yea, but i like the Teppan at Ah-So, plus there is an Ah-So semi close by. to bad that shit can be a good 2 hour wait if you dont get a reservation

yea, the 1 thats like just south of bell on 75th. *the big one* i didnt like the small 1 over on like 67th or where ever it is and bell.

I usually go there or Sakana on 59th or 65th ???? for lunch, i work on 91st and Bell..... so they are both right by me... MMMMMM making me hungry for Sushi.

there is some sushi place thats gonna be opening up by 99th/mcdowell here real soon. im hoping its good. but till then, we will see. I still think its funny.. i HATE seafood (tastes like salt water no matter what i have) yet i love sushi.

BTW Leah my personal favorite is the shrimp tempura roll with eel and eel sauce on top... my mouth is watering right now

Albacore tuna nigiri w/ ponzo sauce, salmon nigiri, dragon roll, Rainbow roll (yea yea, not that type of rainbow, u sick freaks!) And Ahi Tataki salad with the tuna lightly seared! Dammit i am headin to Sakana for lunch!

Hap's real pit Barb'Q was good enough to bring tears to the eye when they were in a trailer on 24th street
Now they have regular restaurants and are still pretty good
One on Washington east of 48th street small strip south side of the road next to large corporate office complex
The other is on the south side Indian School around 32nd ave..

The Vietnamese around town is pretty good
Pho (pronounced faah) is a soup that's cheap and really good
It's one of the best hangover cures I know of
just try the regular (rare beef) til' you learn the menu
