So we ended up going up to tortilla this after noon. Made it thru no problem but on the way back just before the resturants I hit a patch of gravel and low sided. Damage was quite minimal frame sliders saved the the bike. Rashed up the tail, small scrape on the fairing, and bent the rear brake pedal. All and all it wasn't bad might have fractured my wrist probally going to get an xray later. All I can say is I'm glad I was wearing my gear, atleast there wasn't any cats or mexicans in mini vans involved :lol2: ... I'll get some pictures up when I get home.

muhahaha I am sitting next to you right now with your cute little wrap around your wrist... was quite memorable to come around the corner and see you running after your bike sliding down the road... I am just glad you are ok and that the bike didn't go over the cliff. And I am absolutely sold on frame sliders. That thing held up like a champ!!!! Welcome to the club... I could have swore I saw a cat....
ohhh and...
There was no gravel...

The 1/4-mile line came from Craig, the respect line has always been mine. ;)

David... Sorry to hear man... Which corner was it? On the way back to the town there is that dip thing then some straight area which has a left hander that is very deceiving. Followed by like a right that always has rocks in it... Tell me it wasnt that corner because EVERYONE that goes to Tortilla knows that area ALWAYS has rocks and shit in it. Never push it there...
Sarah... I think my computer had an orgasm after those statements

Yeah thats the corner jerry. On the way up I checked and there really wasn't much there, but more must have got blown on the road while we were there. I tried to straighten up before my tire hit the patch but it was too late heh. Its all good though. Gives me an excuse to get those gilles rearsets :). Already ordered a replacement slider puck. Checking out ebay and oneida suzuki for plastics. I'll have the bike back together in no time. Gotta love having high credit and a good job.

can check cycle gear but I'd say use online site. motovationusa.com is the one I have and I stand by them 100% atm Jarod and James would testify to them aswell

Diablito

Yeah I pretty much have full mobility but I've been around health care long enough to know a fracture. Might be hairline but there is some bone pain may just be bruised but won't know till later.

go try a bench press thats how i tested my right one after my snowboard accident. As soon as you start to come down you will know.
Also having mobility doesn't mean much i was able to move both of mine around for awhile after it happened. Neither of mine swelled up or got black and blue either.

Already done a afew push ups this morning on the one hand so even if its a hairline there really isn't much they can do about it just going to keep it wrapped up for afew days

You don't wear that watch when you are riding do you?
If you do, don't! Take it off and put it in a bag. If you catch it wrong, even with a gauntlet you can break your wrist rather easily!
Sorry, didn't mean to go on a rant, heal up quick!
