If anyone missed WSBK Race #1, you've got to find when it's replaying, usually Tuesday some time, and record or watch it. True classic. Very dramatic race with a finish to match. I just got done watching it, and can't wait for Race #2.

Don't want to spoil it too much, but Ben Spies is the man, pulling stoppies going into turn 1.......that is all I'll say, you have to watch it though, both races were quite amazing.

I know race #1's mishap couldn't be avoided, but what's with the hit and miss tactic by Spies. I understand that he would have been nervous at Phillip Island, but he's either going to win, or it's going to be ugly.
And with Haga's age, he should be mature enough to know that he needs points to win the championship. He would have come in at least 10th if not better, but the way he was pushing it leads me to believe that he hasn't matured much. I understand a number of his discrepencies when he was younger were either incidental or rebellious, but laying it down like that is just stupid.

I think spies is getting his feet again in the new class. you're right - he is either hit or miss, but watch out when he finishes all the races.. he will never finish less than podium. I think he ran out of gas because they didn't re-fuel after the red flag... he only ran out of gas the last 100 meters.
