Why do i keep getting logged out every time i click on a link on this page !! Am i kicked off this site or what ? Why is it doing that.. I HAVE TO PUT MY PASSWORD LIKE 8-9 TIME EVERY TIME I GET ON THIS SITE

doesn't seem to be doing that for anyone else and no you are not kicked off.. might just be your wireless connection.. and or.. you ISP.. but sounds like its coming from your end

Just FYI.... Sometimes when i log in, if I am on a thread that has a link and I go to that link for a long period of time.... I believe I have to long back in cause my session timed out. No biggie

Thought I would throw that out there in case you were also looking at other web pages.

I actually have the reverse problem. I have the remember me button checked and when I first come to the site it says I'm not logged in. If I click on a link, it then shows I'm logged in.

It only happens on my laptop at home, never on my work PC.

That use to happen to me but only when I would log in from the real front page. I was told to clear/delete the cookies but it still did it. So I stopped using the real front page and started using the other front page and it works every time. http://www.devil-riders.com/vb/index.php

It is a coding issue beyond my control with the plugin we use on the front page. It happens on a lot of other vbulletin sites I am on also.

If you have the front page bookmarked, just click Forums on the left and you will usually be logged in.

Do not type devil-riders.com into your address bar as this will require an endless login sequence unless you login and then type www.devil-riders.com

alright couple things...

1) make sure you click the remember me box if you want to stay logged in permanently...otherwise the site will log you out due to inactivity if u get stuck reading a long thread or leave the comp or close the browser...

2) make sure you are typing www.devil-riders.com (http://www.devil-riders.com) no just devil-riders.com there is an issue the way the cookie is based. So if you have trouble on the main portal page not staying logged in, but as soon as u click a link you are, that is probably why.
