Does dunlop make a good street tire?

The Qualifiers are okay....not as good as Pilot Powers but I never had the Qualifiers slip out on me except sand and TTF, but what tire wouldn't....

I'd say they're pretty good. How much for a set of Dunlops? cause I'm up for new tires, 20K......

I had Qualifiers on my 2006 R6.. and I swear I felt them slip on regular basis. Have 2CTs on my 600rr and love them.

To be honest, I don't even run street tires anymore. Been running DOT races for a while now. Does the discount apply to those tires?

Hmmm. Might have to pick up a spar set of tires if I can find the dough! :D

On a side note, anybody looking for good extended wear tires, I got a set of Pirelli Diablo Strada's from SVC when they serviced my bike, and they're bomb! Grip is excellent, tread is good, and I've got a little over 1k miles on 'em, and they still look new. Anxiously awaiting prices to be posted!!!

I thought you would recognize a little sarcasm, I guess not (deleted mean thing I was going to say).

I know they make good tires, or else they wouldn't be around still. After a set of D208's a couple years ago I lost confidence in my riding ability because of them. Then after being on a friends bike for just about 2 weeks, the Qualifiers did them no justice either. So that would make me a bitter Dunlop customer.

Does this help you understand?

Why don't you come out to the track? At least that way you can use the dirt when you run off the road. I'm just looking out for you buddy. Your safety is my #1 priority.

i like the qualifiers, never like the PP, i do like the Diabllo's to, but in az u might as well run dot race, u can get em dirt cheap with like 90% tread sometimes , and the grip 1000x better than street tires., but hey thats just me. and a rear usually only lats me about 3k miles:( so like 3 mon ths or less
