Anyone have an acetylene torch or plasma cutter?

I need to cut a hole in the new hood for my 78 to put the scoop on. Just need a quick, square cut. Anyone have a few spare minutes that I can bring it by and cut it?

Cut off wheel on a grinder I think would give you a cleaner cut but I have a torch if you want to try that out

Kevin, you have to cut threw some supports on the underside at the same time, I'd need a huge cutoff wheel and Im sure I'd break at least one of them in the process.
Jason, the 153 is still crap and its hot as shit outside. Besides, Im pulling my 388 apart tonight to measure pushrod length so I can order em. Another time.....

I would agree to some extent but if its hot and narrow it should go straight through. I've seen it done with a torch, just need to use the right heat. I think Tom can handle it. If not I can give him shit about it forever when I spank him up and down the track :4:
