Well Jerry and I decided to go to Chilli's tonight and even knowing that it was going to rain we decided to take the bikes anyway (knowing full well i had never had my bike out in the rain). Now we ate and watched the rain come down and left durring what looked like a little break...wrong.

We end up driving around ASU a bit (i went one way he went the other) and we found the nice deep monson water that left rural so deep that i felt like i was riding a jetski not a bike. I had to put my foot down at one point and the water was way over my ankle. then as we turn into my street we get blasted with more. The water splashed up and over my helmet and we were just soaked. I stopped and changed my clothes but Jerry road home with me in my Jeep about 10min back. By that point broadway road had turned into Broadway River so much so water covered the curbs and center divider and i felt like it was going to come in the door jam.

It was crazy and not something i want to repeat again. Especially when cars are passing you with waves of water coming out the wheel wells

Couple weeks ago about 15 of us "attempted" to ride to Bartlet Lake...When we got to Bartlet Road a news crew was filming live there because I huge storm had just rolled through closing up the road flooded w/ sand, boulders and of course water. So we turned around to head home getting caught in a torentual down pour that we could all barely see the tail lights in front of us. Uuuuugh! :x

yea so i have riden in a monsoon before but i have never riden in a river. After jared got home it got even worse. Broadway was so bad when i put my legs down the water was up to my knees (and in 6ft tall). Everytime a car passed the waves hit my body work and just about knocked over my bike. All i was focused on was my ram air so i didnt hydrolock the engine. Finally i found an area about a foot deep and jumped up onto the sidewalk which was also flooded but not as bad. I crused on the side walk all the way home in about 1/2 foot of water. Then we went out in my buddies truck and blasted down the streets sending 15 ft waves into people on the sidewalks

I wouldnt call them wheelies yet haha only getting between 1-3ft off... gotta let my balls drop and try for more haha, but my back tire has like no tread at all so i figure ill replace it first before i try anything higher as balance is an issue with a huge ass flat spot in the center
