Just to let everyone know there is usually a good show of motorcycles at the pavillions on saturday nights. The pavillions are located on Indian Bend rd just west of the 101 in Scottsdale.

there is supposed to be a little scooter club/gang that is going to show up there this saturday, the 22. I just wanted to say watch out for them cuz they are always drunk and most of them carry guns.
I figure that will be kinda amusing

scooter as in vespa, they ride ghetto "rat" scooters. I didnt go to the pavillions but i have messed with them up through Yarnell Hill, that was a blast.

one thing i cant stand is when scooters try to talk to me at the lights. I just pretend im listening to music and cant hear them.

yeah, you know whats worse, When your a motorcycle tech and you have to work at a scooter shop. Its not that bad to work on them but its horrible to have to ride them.

So what do you think would happen if I rode out to this meet with my Glock .40 in my shoulder holster. I mean, do you think they would take offense since I have a nicer ride and a bigger gun? Just a thought.

aside from the fact that there are a lot of cops that tend to hang around and the obvious issue of the fact a glock in a shoulder holster has a chance to scratch your tank?

Isnt Arizona a, shit whats the term? Where you can freely and openly carry a gun? Anyways, I was down there doing a trade show for work and every other guy (and quite a few of the women) had pistols on shoulder holsters, hip holsters, etc etc.

I'll be heading out to the Pavillions tonite. If anyone else shows up look for me, I'm on a black/red 03 R6 and I wear a red LBZ jacket. I will also be cruising with two of my friends, they ride an 05 gixxer6 and an 02 954.

I've been to the Pavillions a couple times on my bike. I spent all my time checking out the cars. There's some sick Corvettes out there. As for the people there pfftttttt. I had some lamo jackA try to put down my bike because he didn't like something or other about it. Same lamo jackA rode up on a Harley and thought he knew tons about sportbikes.. each time he opened his mouth he just ended up proving how little he really did know. So if you happen to be that guy reading this... YOUR A TOOL BAG.

everytime i go im too paranoid to walk 50ft away from my bike. it just seems like it would be too easy to still a bike there.

it may be easy but for sure someone would see a person fuckin with the ignition. Aside from that they wont just roll it away so you should be more then fine. I know when im out there im watching other peoples cars and bikes as close as i watch my bike and my car

AZ business owners frown on or just plain don't allow guns on their property. I'm guessing if you took one to the Pavilions a business owner or manager of Mc.Donalds or the mall will ask you to leave and have the cops escort you off the property. That's my guess.

I don't worry about my bike much at the Pavilions show. Too many people around for anyone to try and steal a bike. People have flipped my switches and stuff to a different position.. which annoys me a tiny bit, but not a big deal all in all. Cops are there too walking around.
