Got my bike from the salvage yard the other day....

It looks worse than I thought it would! I obviously did more than slide out. Haven't talked to anyone that was behind me yet, so I don't really know what happened to it. I was too focused on saving my R side and thinking about how my bike wasn't worth anything, then "OMG! guard rail!"

I had progressive and I'm getting back $2,111 for the bike! I also will get reimbersed for the helmet as well. Jacket doesn't have a scratch on it, so I can't get anything from that, unfortunatly. I'm buying the bike back for $485 and my brother in law will buy it from me, so I still get my $2k! woohoo! It is going straight for new gear! yay!

BTW- my birthday is tomorrow! I'm going to be 23. I'm having my party at margarita rocks in tempe around 8:30/9ish. Come and wish me happy b-day! Can't miss me, I'll be with crutches, probably upstairs.

don't have any pics of the bike from salvage. I'll get pics of it restored in about a few days! My brother in law is got it running already! The gas tank is all dented and the pipes are bad, but he fixed everything else! I won't be riding that one though...I'll be getting a bigger badder better bike and everyone will be soooo jealous!:lol2: bwahahaha! :devilwink

If your a full time student you should be able to apply for achccs by apipa and you wont have to pay for much at all. GL with the recovery and have a happy b-day!
