I just got a new kick ass Arai Samurai (Vector), but it's LOUD!!! The fit is great, but I couldn't figure out how to reduce the noise. I incidentally found this on Youtube, and after fiddling around with an old Arai I keep laying around, tried it on my Samurai. I'll let you know if it works tomorrow. I took off the holder set with a flathead. Caution: the baseplate screws are plastic. Be gentle. When putting the holder set back on, snap the lower clip in (into the red part) after the top clip.

I love my Arai, but damn it feels like you gotta be a rocket scientist to switch the visors out or change the base plates....

Yeah. I adjusted the visor, and will try it again, but it really didn't do much. If anyone else tries this, let me know the outcome.

My Shoei is adjustable too, and is a bitch. All helmets make some level of noise. I'll put up w the noise to be safe though.
