I've been riding Pilot Powers since I started doing track, and rode Dunlop Qualifiers for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Now I can't wait to run through the one's I have on my bike to get some Dunlops going on. The Pilot Powers just don't compare.

The track goes hot at 0800. In the summer it's earlier.

ya Ramon u were going crazy lol. You should be in intermediate in no time. It was a great day for me also. Finally figuring out a bike that this was my 2nd trackday on. Its a pure track bike so before yesterday i had maybe an hour of seat time on it. I think out of all the crashes they only had one or two red flags that required the ambulance so for the most part a successful day. Cant wait for Dec 13th at West!

I need to get a new rear tire and have my brakes looked at :70:. Actually, you might have an answer for this one. I had both my front and rear pads replaced (Mechanic), and the front feels like I have a warped rotor. I had my rotors looked and they are tracking straight. The fluid was also looked at and it is good. The bike shakes at high speeds when breaking and then when get to around 5MPH it feels like it is grabbing. When I took it back to the shop, he said the adjustments on my forks were not matched, and when he made the match, the shaking at high speeds (again when breaking) stopped, but it still feels like it is catching while at low speeds. So before I get out on the track, I need to make sure that this is looked at. Any idea on what that could be? Oh, and the pads are wearing evenly which leads me to believe the calipers are sticking.

There were quite a few accidents, but I don't remember any requiring the ambulance to intervene.

I love West, and don't know why so many people don't. CCS isn't even racing there this year. All Main and East. I'll be there. I need to improve my times on West by a lot. I really struggled last time I was there.

I believe 2nd session of the morning there was one red flag and i want to say either 1st or 2nd session of afternoon there was another.

What do most people say about west? Ive never riden it but it looks like a fun track.

calipers dont cause pulsing.. rotors are warped.

take your bike to a dif mechanic and have them check run out on the rotors, should be able to do that with a bike stand. and wheel on the bike

That was dude on the white Triumph. I think his name is Jed? I call him "Fabio". lol I think he gave it too much throttle out of the turn and spun it. He was 2 in front of me. The guy behind him almost ran him over. Pretty scary crap... but it ended ok.

warped rotors? take it to dave at fasttracks. he will straighten it up
