Took my forks to get redone to a place up on the west side that was recommend by a friend and because they were cheap. Needed these by today at the latest as I do not have a spare set of forks to run Inde with on Sunday.

Dropped them off on wed at 11am and guy calls me at 4pm on Thursday that he doesn't have the right tool to get the forks apart; and that I needed to be there by 5 to get them from him. If ya weren't sure you could do it, wouldn't you have tried to take them apart beforehand; knowing that I need these back by Friday. Good thing Rodskii was home so he could be my carpool lane buddy.

So I called Mark over at SVC, told him what the deal was and he said bring them over. Not only did they get them done by today, they got them done 2 hours after the seals came in at noon and they are already sitting in my garage for me to put on after I post this.

AND they did it for cheaper than the other guy was going to do it!!

all my shit is going to SVC from now on and I am sorry I didn't go there in the first place.

thats crazy you dont need any special tools to do fork seals. guy obviously had no idea wtf he was doing in the first place.

just do em yourself especially if u got the front triple tree type stand. they are easy. stories like this are another reason i don't trust anyone at shops. most of em have no clue what they are doing....

ah fuck sorry dude!

Another +50 for SVC!!! Curtis came over to my house on the way to the shop, picked up my wheels and tires, had them mounted at SVC and then even brought them back to me the next day! and didn't even charge delivery haha If that isn't customer service, I dunno what is.

Wait thats a bike? I thought it was an expensive garage ornament that has been taking up space in our garages.
