im sure there is a way but by the time you sink all the money into doing it your would be better off buying a bike that has a starter on it already
i found this on another board

yes, you can get a kit to make it an electric start however it is a big shot to your manhood.
another thing is that your from cali and thats prob where your bikes are registered and you cant make dirtbikes street legal anymore. you have to buy them street legal, like the motards or the dual sport drz type bikes. They wont let you make a yzf250 street legal. wonderful laws of california

can i still make them street legal here? that's what I meant.
And I only want to put an electric start on because if it stalls on the street i dont want to sit there kicking like an idiot while people are honking at me lol

well thge 600 is already titled and has a plate in CA so that wouldnt be a problem. Would just have to add a brake light and a mirror as to not get hassled here. As for the 250, I dunno.
And yeah that's true about the stalling lol. I tore a ligament in my hip that makes it kinda hard to kick in the first place so it would really suck lol

You can get pretty much anything licensed here in AZ im from CA and when i brought my CR500 2 stroke over here the mvd told me that i could make that street legal. They really don't care here if you can get it to pass all of there tests which really isn't that hard you will have no problem getting a dual sport plate for your bike here.
