View Full Version : Removing Bent Frame Sliders

Ok so when i went down the frame slider bent a bit and while it did a slight bit of damage to the plastic it was negligible at best. I want to remove it while doing the least about of damage possible. The angle is not bad maybe 20 degrees but probably closer to 10-12.

Anybody have suggestions. I have the replacement here. Oh and it's the motivation slider and it is the cut style.

maybe i should clarify i can get to the bolt and i am sure it will twist but i don't want the slider rotating around crushing and scraping the plastic.

oh. cut it off with a dremel?

its just plastic. cut off the plastic and you can get to the bolt. dremel or a small saw will work

post a picture of what your looking at we may be able to give you a better idea if we can see it...

Mine was bent too from a small lay down right hand side was bent a good 30-40 degrees I took a fucken air hose vroom vroom thing the ones you use for like car tire lug nuts and shit anyways it stripped it out a little bit was sort of a bitch to get it out but once I did I put my new frame sliders in worked just fine be a man about it and drill it!

Hacksaw the bolt off then drill it out and install a helicoli. do it.. do it lol
