Any have and good or bad experiences with apache motorcycles. They're close by to me and wanted to get some opinions. I also noticed good reviews for SVC but notices they're under new ownership. So just wanted to get opinions on both. thanks

SVC is a really good shop, half of the prior ownership was sketchy, new ownership kept the good and got rid of the bad.

i just called svc to ask how much for an oil change and they said 100 with labor. That just sounds ridiculous.

Well depending on the type of oil you put in that ranges from $12-$17 per quart and a bike usually takes 3 quarts so that is $36 without tax so lets make it $40. You will need a filter for the sake of math lets say $10. So that brings the total up to $50 and thats being conservsative. Shops cant work for free.

Do your own oil if you don't know how there are plenty of people who will knwo how to help you out and show you how. Not to mention all thek write ups on all the national bike specific forums. I just did mine on my gix 1k and my r6.

i know people cant work for free, but i think the highest price ive gotten prior to that was 75, ill probably just end up lookin it up and doing it myself

Yeah that will probably be cheapest and best. If you do it yourself you know everything is tightened and done right.

Oil changes are generally pretty easy. Even easier if you have stand to lift the bike

Another incredible tapatalk post from an incredible phone.
