Why don't we just all pitch in as a team and get them. Then nobody is spending a lot of cash by themselves. We need someone to find out how much they are then how many we need. We should get a pump too cause we need it with the basketball and dodgeballs. Also where would we play?

I think pitching in as a team is a great idea, like maybe everyone buy one ball? I will find out how much they are, as for a place to play, pretty much anywhere with a basketball court, it would be nice if we could do a happy medium between westside and eastside!

All these ideas and yet noone ever actually plays a real game of anything we've met up to play so far... hmmm

The main reason I havn't is the unwillingness for a lot of people to participate on middle grounds. It's either Tempe or not at all. And I can't afford to drive to Tempe 4 times a week for events. Unless we start a westside paypal account to help pay for my $300 a month gas bill.....

Hey baby, thanks for researching the cost, you are the best! So what do you guys think?
Red Rose

I didn't mean people don't show up, even the ones who do we end up bsing and not playing with teams, everyone just ends up doing their own thing and three people end up playing around with the ball...
I can understand wanting middle grounds and I have no problem with that but if we're just gonna drink or chill and talk I'd rather do that at a bar/restaurant than on a basketball court... at least there's seats and air conditioning :)

From my place to jerry's is about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic.
Kate how far do you live from jarod?
I live about 12-15 miles from Kate.

OK so we need to find some courts off the 51 or 17 then? Like Phoenix area. That is pretty Central to everyone.

so not allll of your bill is from tempe ;) hehe jking i don't care where...i already drive a ton everyday, if i can make it i might come.

No Laila, it is not all from Tempe, you are correct, but when we were coming out 3 - 4 times a week, it gets expensive. Central Phoenix is a great idea, I will do some research and try to get the most equal distance from each side.

Nah not all of them. But she is on my way to work, on my way home and also on my way to Tempe. So technically she only adds 1 mile at the most. I did calculate a single round trip to Tempe and back home is around 85-100 miles. Depending on what we do in Tempe and the route I take home. I get 120 miles to a tank on my bike and it costs me around $12 to fill up right now. So you can see that it adds up fast.

All depends on how you drive. If I just commute to work I do good, but when riding with Jerry my mileage goes way down. :lol2: The fun factor increases though so it's a fair trade off.
