well i sold my 1997 f-150, i actually got a little more than i was expecting for it too :) i had been looking around for a late sixties early seventies muscle car, my DREAM car has always been any year from 1967-1972 camaro, but with the prices on them these days i didn't think i'd be able to get my hands on one, but i searched anyway. I ended up finding the perfect car at an unbelievable price, 1972 Camaro w/ 350ci munsi 4 speed manual, and a lot of work already done to it, for $3700  this will be a great fun project car and my wife told me to put the difference in what i was plannin on spending on this car and what i actually got it for straight in to the car, i love her, :) i will post more later, i have to go out and start playing right now, i love walking into the garage now, 1994 camaro z28, 1972 camaro, 2 2005 r1's

nice man. how about some engine specs...
We pulled the motor out of my buddies camaro last weekend as the crank bearings are shot. We are putting in a custom Ed Curtis grind cam that is somewhere around 230/234 duration on a 111 LCA. Its going to lope like crazy. also adding 918 springs, roller rockers, hardened push rods and such. Last week we stopped early as i was talking off the oil pickup tray and when the bolt came loose my hand hit the main cap pretty hard and took out a nice big deep chunk of skin.
If you ever need help wrenching let me know. I know my Chevy Gen I,II,and III engines pretty well

yea i'd like to get another block build that then just swap em out that way im not out of a car for very long, i'd love some help wrenchin on it, the pervious owner jerry rigged a lot of shit on it im slowly fixing it one piece at a time, just adjusted the transmission linkage yesterday after it decided to get stuck in 2nd gear, now it runs really smooth, shift fast and smooth, the power steering is the next thing to get fixed, part of my door panels should be here today (just need to find the top door panel trim)

Not a huge fan of the body style, but a nice find none the less :D
I'm looking to get a late 80's to early 90's Camaro for a race car. I like the body on those (I'm told their ugly, but hell, I like the offbeat cars hehe)

yea i had an 86 t-tops, 5 speed, lots of fun and i loved that body, i always wanted this body style tough, id go with 91 or 92 if you want that body style and be prepared to replace EVERYTHING, i'd put a new electrical harness in it right away

Yeah, I was thinking a 92 z28 or an I-ROC (Cause the body kit Chevy put on it is teh sex :P )
And I'd drop a 350 LT1, the same motor in my Impala (Hell, if I had my way, it'd GET the Impala motor and the Imp would get a 454 or even a 572, but alas, money) and probably end up redoing all the wiring to go with it. Then work on suspension.
Of course, this is all big talk for a kid with no money :(
