okay so im assuming that everyone here who is an 04-06 owner has seen the TPS recall, if not call your dealer and ask them when you can get in. They should replace the Throttle postition sensor for free, if you are not noticing problems now you should stilll get it done, it took a while before mine started acting up but hey its free get it done

handling, looks, and power are nothing unless you can ride when it really comes down to it.

Are you sure the 06 R1 is involved in this recall? I have seen alot of 05 R1 stuff about it but not 06? I just called apache honda but they said I needed my VIN#, like who walks around with that.

hondas (especially their 600s) have very forgiving handling, i have have experienced this first hand many times
