Well i needed a rear tire bad so i ordered one over the phone from them. They told me it would be $30 to mount it. I brought my bike in and they said the wheel had to be taken off to mount it. Well i was a bit frustrated so they offered to take it up to North Valley Honda for me so i could get it mounted. They never told me over the phone that the wheel had to be off the bike. It was great to see them go out of their way to drop the tire off for me.

I would recommend them.

I go here mostly to look at gear (kinda likr metro and bikes) they staff is always helpfull and know wtf they r tlaking about. prices are iffy. somethings are good, some r way to high. but atleasy they price match and know what a discount is.

I'd agree w/whats been said so far about Cycle Gear. Great, knowledgable staff, but prices are on the high side most of the time. I did purchase most of my gear there when they were running 20% off about a year ago.

I have had great luck with Cycle Gear as well. I just scored a Dainese Monza for $300 through them, so they definitely have good prices, you just need to know when to shop there. I am going to get new rubber there tomorrow hopefully. That's weird though, I haven't been charged anything for mounting when I buy tires through them.

Cycle gear gets the 'ol seal of approval from me.

I bought the Alpine Stars TZ-1 jacket for $350 on a wed, and a couple days later when we all went to bikers bay another guy with us said he bought it friday for $290 on sale. So I went back to the store and they gave me a refund on a gift card as requested. :D

never had a problem with them except the time they didnt tell me they only mount tires off the bike. Well one of the employees there put my tire in his truck and drove it to the place where i got it mounted. Thumbs up to them
