Well i think its time for the R1 so up for sale is my r6

2001 Yamaha r6
just under 10k miles
all stock except integrated blinker tails.
CLEAN TITLE

bike runs good but could use a few things

pretty much all cosmetic

1.headlight - right one good left lens is basically all gone(both bulbs work and turn on)
2.upper fairing - one that surrounds the headlight - basically i made friends with a lifted trucks hitch and bumper
3. right side mid fairing - dropped the bike in my garage when i was sliding it over on the pitbull stand i had a spool break and the bike fell on some wood and cracked the fairing where the bolt goes through it to hold it
4. its has little scratches here and there
5. could use a new wind screen as someone thought it would make a good scratch pad
6. front tire is still the stock tire so should probably need to be replaced.
7.bike sat for for about a year before i bought it and it has a hard timing idling below 2000rpm.im guessing the carbs are gummed up or need to be synced because it runs great above 2000rpm.Dont really know as i'm not a motorcycle tech i work on cars w/ fuel injection lol.
8.Last thing - i noticed what looks like fluid coming out of the r fork - so i bought new fork seals but haven't changed them yet.i just noticed the fluid about a week ago and there is barely any so im not for sure if its really leaking .

well thats all i can think of - i tried to list the bike to the best of my ability.

Comes with a jardine pipe but not installed (need to get a mid pipe for it)

ok i still have the bike i think the guy at my work backed out.Also i'm in the process of getting the title in my name . Long story but i do have a title signed over to me and notarized by a bank but the dmv says the title i have is the lien title and that i need written auth from the bank that it was financed through to get the info.All the bank will tell me is the account is closed and paid in full but cant give me a written auth because im not the original customer.So i'm going back and forth with them on this and should have it cleared up in a week or so .

ok guys i still do have this bike and am getting the title issues taken care of next week finally.a new tire is going on the front also all fluids are buing changed and i'm going to be taking the bike to vegas here in a couple weeks. when i get back its up for sale again at the stated price earlier $3100 . i'll check back in a few weeks for an update.
