Hey, just found out about this site the other day and figured I'd post up.
I've been spending most my time over on Sportbikes.net but it's hard over there to come across people that are local and that like to go out riding(many track whores).
22, Phoenix, born and raised but just moved to Tempe. I've been riding for 6 years now, but just got my first sportbike (sport-tourer to be exact) back in November, since then I've put 14k+ miles on my 1996 CBR1000F and love it!
I'm definately looking forward to meeting up with you guys for some of your rides.....I understand a group of you try to hit up tortilla every sunday, do any of you like to go on more extended rides?!? My riding buddies and I currently like to do rides up to yarnell hill, the stretch between wilhoit & prescott, and every once in a while a bit further out to Salt River Canyon wich is totally worth it! I also like to ride Mt. Lemmon but don't really enjoy the boreing ride to Tucson. Cottonwood to Jerome is also a great ride, not so easy for my 600lb beast but fun none the less.
And before I get flamed for my avatar, I now have leather pants with knee sliders.....
