Hey there... New to the forum and thought I would say HI!

I have an '05 CBR600 F4i that is my baby with simple mods done to her. While I love my bike, I am probably going to trade for a CBR 1000RR soon.

Looks like it's already been taken care of for ya. :) If it's one of the regualar's bike's, which I'm pretty sure it is. You probably can't go too wrong.

Thanks but wrong year.. I can only almost flat foot 06' and 07's ... lol.. I am 5' 4"... my '05 makes riding with me entertaining at times! lol

Oh, I agree on the price honey.. it is not that at all. I lowered my F4i for over a year, and had nothing but issues with corners... now if I can't ride it like it was made, I just won't ride it. I had to re-learn to ride it when I raised it back to stock height.. seems like I have been riding for 2 years and learning to re-ride for most of it due to lowering it :(

I can't say I disagree with ya, I would never lower a bike either. They put it like that for a reason. Just tryin to help ya out.:) I know sarah(Retro19849) has the same problem which is why she rides a katana. But she rather have an R1.

Thats the main reason i was worried about lowering my bike, it was designed and tested to be a certain hight, mess with that and you might as well be kicking your own ass.

I know I won't lower my Duc. I'm just getting higher boots and shaving the seat. There's no other way to lower it without changing how it handles completely. It sux.

I'm 5"4' too btw :)

Everyone lowered their bikes in '06 (except the F4i since it was the last year they made it) so now, I can almost flat foot all bikes! Okay and my riding boots help! lol

ya, I know a ton of dirt bike rider's that shave their seats cuz they're too short. Just not that easy to do with most sport bikes.

Mine is made out of foam. It is super comfy. Unfortunatly it won't be that comfy when I'm done with it. sigh.
