In-n-Out/ South Mountain Friday 9-15-06

Alright guys, i know i cant ride but i will be at In-n-Out for the food and such.

Here is the deal. Lets meet at In-n-Out at 7pm. It is located on Rural Rd. just south of the 202 (you can see it from the highway). This will give us an hour to eat and talk to each other. This way you meet people in person. The group will leave In-n-Out at 8:15 and head for South Mountain. This way6 everone will be back on mill/home intime to live up the night. Lets see as big of a show as last time!

haha depending on how long my bike is down i may let ya borrow the rear sets and filter... the PCIII is programed for my bike and the ignition thing is a pain to get out...

I have to get a quote on my bike first though so ill need to get into the garage probably early next week

I probably wont make it to this event as i think ill be going home for court. I was throwing around the idea of dropping the charges, but i have decided against it and i need to go through with it.

Just curious.....how fast do you guys move up the mountain? I notice quite a few of you have 600's so perhaps they are more fun on such a tight road, but I just cannot get into it. Many decreasing radius turns coupled with sand in many corners (mid corner, went again today), and you want to ride it at night?....I would love to ride with you guys sometime but I'm not sure how this is appealing?

I'm not trying to sound negative...I just want some insight from the riders that usually do this ride.....If you just cruise to the top for the view, I could kind of understand, but being on sport bikes is the part that makes the journey for a scenic lookout fairly un-understandable.....haha.

we just cruise up to the top at our own pase. everyone arrives at the top at a different time and we wait for them. then we chill up at the mountain for a while, pretty much until we get kicked out.

as for the night riding...your more focused on the road, i know some people that would rather ride in the night than day. to me it really doesnt make a difference.

just like skull said own pace I have never ridin the mountain during the day just the three times with the devil riders at night. I like it I am usually one of the last ones up! lol I would have gotten up there sooner last time if it wasn't for that damn Burben!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dony cry larry :) this is actually the 1st FULL week of work ill be working in prob 2 months. but thankfully i go back to my old schedule.. so ill have weekends off again

Someone please take pictures, also make sure you leave around 8:15pm to get to the mountain on time. Please take it easy this time as we are on the cops good side so lets keep it like that. we will be leaving in and out at 8:00. i want to get back early because its a friday, and im sure everyone else will to. My roommate is letting me borrow his camera so I will be taking pictures. as blue devil said take an easy when we travel pass the check in and the police station, it shouldnt be that hard with a smaller group. if we catch anyone without a helmet like last time they cannot ride with us.

ok if you get on the 101 and then get to the 202 comin from the east you get off on rural and make a left and go under the freeway and it is on your left if you are comin from the west you get off on rural and make a right and in n out is on your left rural is just west of the 101 ~! see you there homies!

It was a good time. I think there were eight of us that ended up riding together up the mt. There were more guys at in and out but a few didn't do the ride.


It was good to meet you guys and I look forward to more events. It's pretty cool having that many bikes rolling around together.

next time will be better. This was kind of thrown together last minute as all i have been thinking about lately is getting my bike back together. Give me a 2-3 weeks and ill be up and going for these.
