I feel like riding yarnell hill this Sunday and then continuing up onto Prescott. At that point I'll probably turn around and go back the same way, but, if I feel like it, or have somone withme that does, I may continue on up from prescott to Jerome.

Is anyone interested in going on this ride? I usually have two guys from sportbikes.net that ride with me but I'm not sure if either will make it this weekend....

If no one is interested I suppose I could just join you guys on your tortilla ride even though it's not as fun ;)....... I just wanna meet up with some new riders and have some fun. So wether it be yarnell or tortilla I'm sure some of you will be seeing me....

It's a great ride! Yarnell hill is my favorite by far just because it's lots of long, highspeed, sweepers....not sure how many miles but it's about 5min worth if you're traveling 75-90 or so....gotta go up and down once though first to make sure there are no cops.

Then after yarnell you get to some twisties just before prescott that I believe last for about 23miles.....good stuff. You won't be disappointed.

great ride, we just did it last tues, its about 120 miles (carefree to wickenburg, yarnell, spars, to prescott) well worth it, lots of fun, if you are goin on a sun watch for 5-O on the top of yarnell, i'd suggest makin a slow pass up and down first to check then run it 1-2 more times max, then move on, oh yea and when we went on tues it was raining pretty hard so be careful of sand/clinder on the spars, probably clear by now...

NEwayz lots of fun, i'd DEFINATLY go but i have to work, if you go all the way into PV you have to stop at Zeeks for food (right next to harkins movie theater) GREAT food and huge portions

Yeah, the PO-PO love to stake out yarnell hill just as much as I like to bomb up it, so I always do a more reasonable pass before going balls out. Thanks for the heads up on possible gravel and such.

What works for you? I usually leave pretty early. 7 or 730 too early for you? I like to get started early when it's nice and cool. Also, by the time we get back you still have a good chunk of the afternoon left......

Anyone interested in going:

I'm thinking we should meet up at the circle K on the NW corner of broadway and Hardy at 7:15 and leave by 7:30. From there we'll take the 10west out to the 303 and out there we'll meet up with another guy that wants to come along.

WE WILL BE BACK IN PLENTY OF TIME TO MAKE THE HOOTERS BIKE NIGHT, SO DON'T WORRY!

602-214-0950 if you have any questions!
