Just trying to get a feeling as to where everyone likes to go to buy their gear..

Good deals, good selection, is what I'm looking for.

I'm thinking a new jacket soon as the weather is cooling off.. maybe helmet too.

Internet

I don't know what kind of gear you are looking for but www.motoxoutlet.com has the best prices I've seen for Joe Rocket which is mainly what I wear. You do have to go through the little e-mail their automated response thing to get the best prices but it was well worth it. (ex. Joe Rocket Speedmaster Pants for like $264).

Another good place is www.newenough.com, they got all sorts of good reviews by the owner of the gear that they sell. You can always check e-bay too, or other forums but then you need to be a little more careful of who you deal with.

Locally, I have found that Cyclegear isn't too bad of a place to shop, and you can occasionally find coupons and such for them from random places. (Team AZ MSF, etc.)

go to Cycle Gear and try stuff on for sizes. Then buy online. Check out our sponsors site or post up asking for a price and let him see what he can do. Right now i am in the process of getting a few more sponsors. I sent out 4 emails yesterday to various companies to see if they want to sponsor us. I will be looking into more local places soon too.

That is probably the best way to go, but I always feel bad doing that so I end up trying on a bunch of stuff and then at least buying 1 of say 3 things that I was going to get.

Bag that man -- don't feel bad at all -- the dudes working there don't care and the mark-up is so much it's crazy. Very nice of you though.
