There was supposed to have been a hearing to try and get it re-opened

I heard there was issues w/ people nearby complaining or something. This was awhile ago though, so I may not remember correctly so don't hold my word as the truth.

i think it has something to do with the people living in the area complaining about the noise...

Yup all noise complaints and we will prob never see it open. A buddy got to track on it and said it was amazing :(

Yeah, that was all when it first closed
They were able to revoke the permit due to the Honda press launch a few years back
It was originally premitted as a private track for club events
Meaning they couldn't lease it out
Noise really was not an issue they could substantiate..
Track days were cool. it just could not be used comercially
................
However, there was supposed to have been a hearing a few months ago.

I will see what I can find out
And, if we need to sign petitions or attend a council meeting or something

noise huh? i am pretty sure those F-16s flying non-stop from sun up to sun down are 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times louder than the bikes. but from what i read, that is what the people were complaining about. i also read that a court overturned the decision to close it and that decision was being appealed

Yeah that was the last I heard too
It was a violation of permited use that caused the orig permit to suspended/revoked
I haven't had a chance to track down any new info I've kinda got a lot on my plate right now
