At about 10:30 tonight I walked out of six shooters on peoria and 35 ave and found the spot next to my friends truck empty, where I had parked when I got there.... I am still frusturated by the realization that my bike was stolen and the piss poor atitude by the cop I can't even think of a hole lot to write at the moment.... Anyone who has seen my bike know what it looks like and anyone who doesn't look at my signiture and if you could please keep and eye out for my bike.... I have only counted about 4 so far and I have had my bike since may, so please contact me if you have seen it (where and when) and I will relay the message to the cops.... My number is 989-737-4797 and my name is trevor.... Thanx

Trust me, you and me would be sharing a cell together.... Cops told me if I see my, don't try to confront them just call 911.... I said ok but in my mind all I thought was as soon as that fool stops I would drop kick his ass right off of my bike and beat him to a pulp.... Putting it mildly....

I will keep an eye out for it. Have you registered it on any of the sites with a stolen bike site? Can you give us a frame number or some mark on your bike to identify it, so we don't beat the shit out of someone on their bike?

SOOOO sorry to hear that... what a fucking assholes (excuse my french) people who steal bikes need to die of a raging flesh eating gonorrhea and rot in hell for eternity......

Anyways, like someone else said, does the bike has any distinctive features, scratches or anything like that... I'll be keeping an eye for it... What about insurance, was it full covered?

And for new and expensive bikes I think lojack is a pretty good idea

is the left side of the bike still rashed up?

tgreene_dj
09-21-2006, 05:03 PM
I wanted to everyone for trying to help me out.... Yes the left side is still rashed up but the insurance company doesn't know about it.... There are 2 lil scratches:1. on the frame just above the vin sticker about pen tip size, 2. rear swing arm right side just below the axle bolt.... I have put a rear cowl on, black GPR steering stabilizer, YZF R6 grips, no cut frame sliders from motoeations, greggs cutoms rear fender eliminator, and greggs customs flush mount turn signals.... That is about all of the features to my bike.... I also wnat to say thanks to everyone who relayed messages to other boards.... And to answer all the insurance ?'s I have full coverage and gap and theft, so I have all of my bases covered.... More to come....

I have seen quite a few around, but nothing lately. its pretty unlikely that they are riding it around, but definatly not impossible. at least you have insurance. i just recently bumped my coverage from liability to theft. its like $40/month more, but every cent is worth the peace of mind especially considering my neighborhood.

back in NY, i would routinely leave the keys in my car ignition while it was parked on the road in front of my house. I would only take the keys out of the car when i parked at a store, or a really bad neighborhood. i wouldnt dream of doing that down here. I had the trailer hitch ball stolen off my truck less than 12 hours after putting it on. bastards.

Since it seems that some of you are fairly new to sportbikes and/or the PHX area
Now is probably a good time to bring this up

I don't know if the police told you
Unfortunatly, this has been quite a problem in PHX for some time
Many times bikes are targeted on weekends at known sportbike hangouts
(like Pavillions, or wherever)
These freaks work from within
they ride and can look just like you or me..
There very well could be someone involved on this forum already
They will follow you home and scope out your routine and situation
Later.. with two or three others freaks
they toss your bike in the back of a van and within hours it's stripped

The point is..
it could be someone you know although probably not know very well
Just use common sense when riding with people you don't know well
Beware of guy's with the flashy/poser rides... Car's, or bikes
these guy's are not homeless drug addicts
They will prob be living well beyond their apparent means

I don't know what else to say
This stuff just firken sux
And, if ther is any of these freaks on this forum
Driving a pimped 4x4 or Hummer or whatever on the procedes of this crap
I for one would see your butt in a cell if I find out
Or, I'll talk to a couple of friends about clearing out some space on my favorite wall

preach on brotha.

Also lately in the east valley there has been a group of mexicans. One will talk to you abot your bike for a bit while you are at a gas station, then when you least expect it another will walk up behind you and have a gun to your head. They will take your bike on the spot. So be carefull at gas stations at night when by yourself.

in a situation like that, I would have to say that I would probably just let them take it without a fight. even if I had a cwp and I was packin. its just a bike, not worth my life. and that's why I have insurance.

Keep in mind, when you use your insurance. Companies can and will refuse to cover you, even when you are the victim. So please don't claim every scratch and dent because when you need it most you can be cancelled. FYI
