how do i post a pic?

i have tried a thousand times, i can't figure out how to get a pic in these messages or under my name where its says squid

For the avatar-
-hit the profile button at the top
-scroll to the bottom of the page
-go to "upload Avatar from your machine"
-hit browse and find a picture file on your computer.
-If the picture is too big you have to resize it



For a picture in your profile-
-upload your picture to the internet on a site hit imageshack.com putfile.com or any others.
-once the picture is uploaded copy the web address from it (if you cant find it right click on the picture and it will be under properties.
-then in your signature copy and paste the link into it.
-next put before the address and after

example:
web_address_of_picture_here


do you know how to upload a picture onto a website like imageshack or anything? God i hope so....

I don't know about the above mentioned sites. I use Photobucket.com. On photobucket.com they have 3 modes to identify the picture one of them is IMG. All you have to do is copy the text in that box and paste it to your post. Good luck

Yaa, It is all cool, I remember I got all confused about the syntax of the [IMG] stuff. When I went on photobucket there it was no muss no fuss. Jusrt sharing with the new guy.

im still having trouble trying to post a pic. its uploaded in photobucket but all i can post is the url, html, and img code. i tried to post under the introduction section but nothing.
