Well it was a perfect day for a trackday. It was empty out there because so many people backed out fearing bad weather... pussies... but i decided as it was only my second track day that i would run with the Super Street class. At the beginning of the day i was getting passed by a few people but by mid day or lunch time i was pacing the same people that were passing me. But the best part was 3/4 through the end of th day when they grouped intermediate with the super street and i get to run with those guys. I was so fuckin suprised with how i could keep on pace with them. Then they went back to running us with just the super street and it got a bit annoying as it seemed like i was gaining and passing everyone in the damn group. What i did like was i got some time to learn to deal with traffic and switch lines to get around it. All in all it was a fuckin great time. Cant wait for the 8th at West again...

As for comparison i gotta say i think i like main just as much if not a little more. I like how it has more right handers as west is mainly all fuckin left turns. I cant wait to give east, arroyo, and willow a try soon.

Oh and to all the people giving me shit about body position i worked on that a ton and pretty much fixed it. Makes it so much easier to have a higher corner speed as well as keep a line.

Oh and yea... my second track day and I did get my knee down more then a handfull of times :D

Congrats, I know what you mean about getting held up in the superstreet class. I did the intermediate at the last tracktime event and it was the same way in that group. There were two people faster than me but a gripwho were slower.

yup you can sign up for a full day... basically theres two groups in the afternoon rather then three. First group is for the people getting their license and the second is open to everyone lol. Should be a ton of fun. Thats 45 min of open track time each hour... can you get a better deal then that?

I should have a bike by then. I'd say Mid O, if its available, or Grattan (more availablility).

The West Track was the snit just like the WestSide bootches! Gnaw but seriously, lots of fast turns, i kinda like how i stayed in 2nd gear pretty much the entire time other than the straight! Good times! Will be doing another at West Track soon!
