Track Day Anyone

AZ trackdays is holding one on 3/16 and is $169. The other is az tracktime on 3/2 and is $189. I am going to one just not sure yet. I like az tracktime because there is more time on track like 5+ min. per session. There are better corner workers and there are no first time track riders allowed. Which is great for all the track guys but I would rather see a ton of first time track riders. I think it would be kick ass if we could have a DR event at firebird. My vote is for AZ trackdays. (free leather rentals too) :bringit:

Plus that runs right into the week and that is something that I can't get around.....School. If I went i would want to be there for as long as possible. Plus I was thinking about getting new people on the track.

they have both. and totally worth it!! we paid $70 for more than 1/2 hour sessions. most were atleast 45 min and it was 12 of us MAX out on the track

Not to be a dick or anything, but its only a 5 hour drive and if your not riding free at Firebird, its well worth it considering you can do two Trackdays at Arroyo for less than the price of 1 at Firebird and considering the Track at Arroyo is 10000000000000 times better than Firebird, much cooler people, and so forth, I think it is well worth the 5 hour drive. Its always good to get away every once in and awhile. Oh yeah and when you do the two-day TD at Arroyo, one day is Clockwise and the next is Counter-clockwise, or vice versa. Gotta give credit to Sebastian for all this info., he is an Arroyo Veteran!

Amen and goodnight. I can't imagine the guys out at firebird being as cool as roger is. He has no rules on the track other than being safe. I'm afraid to go to firebird cause it won't be nearly the same.. I'm moving to new Mexico.. Who's commin with..

Yeah I don't know bout moving there unless the Jobs were good! But I don't mind driving down there, more planning, and do the 2-day TD this time. We will set up to go early summer! Sebastian's said he's going back this weekend for the 2-day! Baller!

not a baller, just did a side job and put a motor in chevy,made like 700 on it. so im going to play while i still can! i love arroyo. the track is way more technical. go do a 2 day at arroyo and come to firebird.you'll be owning bitches all day. the caliber of rider out at arroy is crazy,doug chandler goes their alot. ivan garze races their alot and just did some AMA stuff. id rather race out their with a bunch of fast guys. but thats just me...

I might have them. One of my friends is probably going but I don't know for sure. His GF has a new F150 that we might "borrow" for the weekend. If he doesn't go then I will have to figure something out. But I will be there for sure. How close is the hotel?

eh,it depends,usually 20-30,the most ive seen was in the low 40's. usually runs open track all day,unless their are a bunch of new ppl riding,then he'll split it up.

OK hate to be the bringer of bad news but I can't go to new mexico that weekend and that was the only weekend that I could have gone. SSSSOOOOOOOO its back to AZ trackdays which everyone loves so much!! I say lets meet up have some fun and get some new track riders out there. The other night at BWW there were a few guys that would never think of being on the track. That is the dumbest thing that I have heard in a long time. Lets get them out on the track to learn and have fun in a safe enviroment..

Need money = Get sponsors. It is not as hard as people think. I am working on a few that would let me start racing with CCS or WERA. That means that they would help with the cost of racing ( Track fees and up keep to the bike). NO I wont tell you who it is because it is not for sure yet and even if it was I wont say how much it is for. So don't even ask!!

OK I am 95% sure that it will be 3/2 (sunday) through AZ Tracktime. It is 185 for the full day which is what I would be doing and it is on Firebird's east track. I will post if there are any changes.

Pretty soon here I'm in the process of getting a track suit as we speak. I have been putting off doing a track day because I know when I do get out there and ride I'm going to be hooked and i just don't have the money to be out there all the time right now lol

Well i didn't get a one piece like I wanted. Instead I got a great deal on a Teknic jacket and then im going to order the Teknic sport pants to make it a nice 2 piece for the track.

I still plan on getting a one piece Gericke Celtic 1 piece or the Teknic Violator 1 piece
