Was thinking about it. Not sure If I can afford the track day and the race weekend on the 8th. That shit is toooo expensive. It sucks for an average Joe to try and race his sport bike...lol

There is nothing like that competitive feeling though. Last weekend was my first race, I am more than hooked now.

never riden with a lap timer and never riden east. I would love to get my lap times though. Im sure mine on West arnt too bad. Ive riden west twice and main once and thats it for experience.

What do you and other new racers run in comparison? I want a track timer bad just so i can gauge my progress. So you going to be out there? Im going to pick up a bullet cam and run that on my bike as well as a tank cam. Hopefully i can get some good angles.

During the race my lap times hovered around 1:00:5 to 1:00:8.
1:00:5 being my fastest lap during that weekend. Finished 4th out of 19 bikes...lap times of the different riders were anywhere from 1:09:00 down to 1:00:2. Started on the grid in 10th...I had some catching up to do.

I have not ridden on the East track yet so it will be fun. Besides all 3 tracks are better for a 600 than a 1000. Now if it were Miller........bye bye.

Next race is March 8th and 9th. There are always some groups of sport bikes that show up later in the day during the races.
