There used to not just heat tires, but minimize heat cycles and save the tires ;)
Usually tire warmers run at like 100-180*. Obviously they cant transfer all the heat to make the tires the same, but if you have ever felt a tire when the warmers come off there is a big difference between outside/ground temp and that. Also the feeling of the bike with warm/cold tires. Warm tires just want to dip into the turns because the pressure is usually 2-5lbs higher then when cold

Tire warmers are awesome. It makes a HUGE difference, you don't have to pussy foot around the track on the first lap.

I am probably going to need them myself, but if for some reason they will not let me ride which is likely because I am the newest corner worker. If I do not ride then yes you can borrow my generator, it is a two stroke and its very small but it works. I will be there uber early so I can try to ride and I will have it with me.

why dont you think you will be able to ride? everytime i have been there they allow all the corner workers to ride as long as theres enough workers at each corner. If they said i couldnt ride but i can work id say F-it and leave...

I think Sean is saying that they may not have room for him to flag this weekend thats why he would not be able to ride

They are expecting alot of workers and I am the lowest on the totem pole. They are not selling out either so they are loosing a shit load of money on corner workers.

Tire warmers = Tomahawk's. They fit all of the liter bikes and are regulated at 175. And they are $175 to your door in 3 days. They are listed on ebay and mine are almost an exact copy of chicken hawk's. Very happy with them.

I will also have a generator out there but I don't know how big it will be. I do know that there will be 4 tire warmers pluged into it.
