Clean and Clear Az Title in Hand


The time has come to find a good home for my 2002 Yamaha R6. It has been babied since day one and is without a doubt one of the nicest, if not THE nicest 02' R6's in Az! All plastics are intact and have a thick coat of wax on them. The bike is Pearl Red in color, the pics don't do it justice at all. I don't stunt, I don't race, I don't track the bike, it is pampered. It pulls very strong, the only thing I'd say is it could probably use a carb sync to get the idle mixture perfect, so I have reflected $200 off asking price to more than compensate for it (Tool costs $40 from www.kneedraggers.com (http://www.kneedraggers.com)) ALWAYS GARAGED.

Flushmounts all around
Fender Eliminator
Micron High Mount Exhaust
DynoJet Stage I Jet Kit (Variety of jets included with sale)

520 Chain Conversion

Maintenance just completed are as follows;

Valve clearance checked at 20,000 and it was perfect.
New Fuel Filter
New Air Filter
New Michelin Pilot Power Tires Front AND Rear
New R/R
Brake Fluid Flushed
Coolant Flushed
Oil Changed with Castrol Superbike and Mobil1 Filter
Chain Lubed and inspected every 2 Weeks with PJ-1


The bike comes with TWO MATCHING HELMETS, Helms Manual, Original Owner's Manual, Second set of Keys, and OEM jets. Aksing $5,200.

oh i have no doubt about that i never meant anything bad about your bike i just prefer FI to Carbs but i know some guys who swear their carb setup runs smoother. Just a preference thing. Plus the older R6's aren't my style

Yea, I think it all depends on tuning. A properly tuned carbed bike will be smoother than a crapily modded FI bike.

Anyway, so you guys know, and this goes for everyone. If you bring me someone who ends up purchasing the bike, I will pay out a $100 commission to you. Thanks.

i understand its a nice bike and all but you just cant get 5400 for a pre '03 bike these days. Most 03-04's go for 5000-5500.

ehh.. if Mike @ AZP&S got like 10k for his 02 R1 just because he was retarded enough to put a new akro evo system on a tired bike.. someone could still buy this bike. imo, 5400 seems fair. some people (like me) like the 99-02 R6's over the 03-07's. i mostly like them cause the seats are 1000 times better on the older r6's vs the nwe cardboard these new bikes have.

i bought my current bike soley on comfort. the fact it can do 200 is just an added plus :lol: :lol:

yea :( it kinda sucks. but omg does the thing accelerate like nothen ive ever seen/been on before. 182 comes SO DAMN QUICK.. i just wish there was a 7th gear so 200 would come that much quicker.
