no, those are at Suharo (sp?) lake. If you have ever been out salt river tubing, instead of turning left to turn into the tube rental area keep going straight ahead. Its also a great area to ride at night as there are long sweeping turns that you can see through

Are there any beginner riders in Devil Riders?? Everything I am reading about here seems to be people jetting around on thousand CC bikes at extreme speeds. Don't get me wrong, I'll work my way up there one day. However, for now I am still learning and getting used to my Ninja 250. I'd also like to know... Are any other chick riders in the club?? I have yet to meet another female whose taste in bikes leans toward the sport bike side. Thanks for the info guys, it'd be cool to get to know some of you.

What's up Tin, actually most of the bike are 600's and there are a lot of newer riders on the board.... Actually I was having a conversation with Blue Devil and a couple of other people last night about riding techniques and learning to ride, so please don't think we are all very experienced riders.... I'm not the most experienced riders but I have picked up some tricks along the way.... I know of one other girl on the forum but rides a cruiser.... If you want to do some riding tonite read the thread on saturday bike night....

yea the club has a bunch of newer riders. Hell i have only been riding since march. The more experienced guys on the board are here to help the less experienced just get better. No one is going to leave you behind in the dust.

As for the chics, plenty like the sport bikes, just they dont have their own. They prefer to ride on the back. Just last night when riding around I got a chics number that ill call to go riding with

i dont get it

yea man, me either. What does me getting some chics number have to do with a naked guy climbing out a window? Better yet, why do you have a picture of a naked guy climbing out of a window, and why do you feel the need to show us all? Im just curious... I guess im still a rookie for some reason.

Thanks..
I guess that's never happened to you
me ahhh
no comment

about the rookie part..
you mentined you just started riding in March..
It's been 35+ years for me.
And, I've been an AMA mechanic for awhile too..
The reason I spend time at a forum like this is to just try and pass down a little experience.
I was involved with a fairly large riding group here a few years back that had rides with as many as 30-35 guy's heading to Yarnell
We lost the Prez and a few other members to riding accidents
it was a very difficult thing to go thru and I'm a little leary to ride with large groups again
saw this forum saw that it was new and the relative riding expirience was low
(understandable as it is school based)
I felt compelled to watch/lurk for a little while and see how it develops
Be aware Jerry, the tone you set does make a difference
The rides we went on were very organized and safety was always stressed
we had rules that tried to minimize risk, the right people leading, sweep riders
it had a very mature responsible attitude
Yet accidents are just that accidents
Youth and testosterone have to be tempered with a strong sense of responsibility from the leadership
It doesn't mean you can't have fun.. and in my case a warped sense of humor
Just be aware of what is on your plate
You will need a thick skin and clear vision

I couldnt agree more man. On our rides we try to stress safety and organization. This is why we have such threads as the helmet one. I would love to have more guys like you browsing and adding your knowledge to posts. I have been riding dirt bikes since i was young but yes, street bikes since march. So in that case I agree, im a rookie to street bikes. Did you just do mechanic work on AMA bikes or did you ever get into racing?

raced MX, CMC golden state, trans cal, etc.
But that was long ago
crashed a lot, and started wrenchin on freinds bikes doing the Nationals and SX
that evolved and I then got away from bikes for awhile
several years ago I made some calls and got back into roadracing
Some of the guy's bikes I've wrenched on
Jake Holden
Nicky Moore
Vince Haskovec
Cory Eaton
Adam "Crusty" Furgesson
A couple of weeks ago Cary Andrews of Hypercycle fame asked me to help out with Steve Rapp at the Willow Toyota 200
I've kind of got a lot on my plate right now and wasn't able to go..
That sucks.. but they did ok finishing 2nd and taking home $30,000

Very nice man. Ever think i could tag along and just watch as long as im out of the way? I have experience with working on bikes, but ive had the most experience working on the pit crew for a SCCA camaro. So i have plenty of pit experience, just not pit work on bikes. Let me know as i would love to see it all.

After a recent riding experience and what you just wrote, you previous hit me harder than I could ever imagined rc51mike.... Inexperience in my opinion is the leading cause of accidents and deaths amongst younger riders to date and I experienced the first hand recently but thankfully I walked away, even better I rode away.... My only wish in life is that a person can gain experience in all forms without being slapped in the face by hardship, irony, and life.... Everything that you wouldn't have made sense to me before that but ride but it is all too clear now and I just hope more people read this post and truely understand it also.... Thank you for your post I appreciate it....
