Well, I figured I would introduce myself as I went from lurking to posting a couple of times. Just trying to get a feel for the group here.
First off I am 34, so a bit older than most of you but it is always nice to be able to identify some of the other sport bike riders in the area when out for a ride.
Graduated from Horizon High (Scottsdale) in 1990, Former Marine, attended DeVry and finished up at ASU in 2000. Married, have a 3 year old and 3 month old. I don't get to go on many rides with groups of people as my planning is kind of impromptu, i.e. the kids are taking a nap and so is the wife...hmmm Tortilla Flats is only 2 hours...
I have been riding since 1991 with a break of about 8 years in there...got back on a bike about 4 years ago and am kind of partial to older bikes. I am currently riding a 1986 VFR750F with 26k on the odometer. It doesn't have the power of the newer bikes but damn is she stil fun in the twisties.
Thought I would give you some background before the "Who the hell is this guy" posts show up. :)
