Yea, i know big suprise haha. Well a cycle cop pulled up next to me and told me to pull into the parking lot. Well after bullshitting with him for about 20 min he let me off with a fix it ticket for no mirrors. He even told me just to take a picture of it with mirrors and take them off after if i want haha. So i talked to him for a bit about the club, how to get into track days, and how he admits he would be in a bit of trouble if he owned a sport bike.

So I still have my get out of jail free card (traffic school) and I got a stupid fix it ticket.

Oh and i got pulled over for speeding, changing lanes too closely between cars, no license plate (mine busted off but had it in my backpack), no mirrors, and having my visor up. He said he was suprised that I didnt run, that i have a motorcycle endorsement, and that I have insurance.

for having your visor up??
But if the state doesn't require a helmet, who cares if you have it up?

Whether or not you're wearing a helmet, I'm pretty sure the law requires you still have some type of eye-protection. Same reason a car must have a windshield, shit gets in your eyes are you may cause a lot of trouble...

eye protection is mandatory at all times.

i have been ripped off my bike by an undercover narc officer and held there til backup arrived. After i talked to him and calmed him down all i got was a speeding ticket. He surprised the shit out of me cause he was off duty in his civilian truck, saw me doing wheelies on 60 on the way to school.

If he pulled you off your bike, you could have pressed charges for assult. Out of uniform they are not allowed to touch you or apprehend you unless they are on official undercover duty.

Don't feel bad, I got pulled over Sunday for speeding on the 101, it was on the car so couldn't run, I had the M-4 and 9mm in the back (comming back from the range) DPS cop was a real dick but all I got was the speeding ticket, after all my entire paperwork was straight. I freaking hate cops, at least I have the same "jail free" card.

I don't get it. Why would having a picture of the bike with mirrors be okay?

So you could claim you're in the middle of maintenance, then they'd let it go?

It's a fix it ticket...so all you need is some proof that the violation was fixed. Throw on some mirrors, take a pic, send it in.
