speaking of 04 636's...my buddy has one with just a -1, kleen air, and exhaust...that bike's shit loads faster than my 07 6r with -1, +3 and jumper....(im sure it's also way lighter)

dunno bout comparing the 2 top end, since i didnt really get on it for long...but that thing just freakin moves

yup the 636's dont disappoint when it comes to power. and the rawness and less refined ride of the 03-04's makes it feel like they can take a lot of abuse. the 07's are nice and smooth but IMO arent as good for the street as the older ones

yea i have to say after experiencing kawasaki all this time, the one ive been most comfortable on is my current gixxer. its not as fancy or refined as the newer kawi's, but there's a reason why the GSXR's are praised for their handling. ive only had it for 2k miles so far and i love it. kawasaki is part of my roots, but glad i ventured out of it and tried something new

my 07 handles like a dream...but i know what u mean bout the older ones tho...they feel more....idk how to explain it....more agressive if you will, tho not talking about rider position or anything like that. seems like you just feel more of the bike, which isn't always a bad thing. my 07 seems to be alot 'smoother' for daily riding....but seems to like the turns better than the older models. even my buddy thought so

yea i like the 07's. especially how friggin smooth they shift. i didnt like the way they looked at first, but its grown on me a lot. a gearing change is a must tho. they dont feel as torquey down low

nope...b/c the lack of displacement. honestly really cant compare the 2 since they're technically not in the same class.

but jea like i said i've got -1, +3...took care of the torque-less bottom lol
