This may not go here because it's not a shop, but I did get work done.
So I had been experiencing a lope and roughness at idle. I knew this only meant one thing, out of sync throttle boddies. I saw a thread a while back and saw that Jason (wheeliest) had the tools and knowledge to do this service. Now anybody that knows me knows that I do ALL of my own work on my bike. I never trust a MMI duscher at a stealership with any of my bikes ever.
So I called Jason and set up a time to get it done. Not knowing quite what to expect having never met him or anyone who he has done work for, I set out to get my baby fixed. Jason works out of a nice lil garage at his inlaws place. I had already taken most of my bike appart in prep for Jason to do his magic. I helped as much as I could and kept a keen eye out for total douchery. Which I have to say with complete satisfaction that this guy knows his shit.
I knew for the most part what needed to be done. Yet Jason finessed his way through my bike finishing with a VERY stable idle. After my bike is at runnung temp with idle set at 1300 rpm, the needle does not move even as much as a cunt hair. I told Jason I would write up a review for him IF I was satisfied. I have to say all in all Jason is a very stand up guy and can handle without a doubt any service he offers. And his prices are fair considering they are flat rate based on the service and not "by the hour shop rates"($60-$80/hr). It cost me $50 and about an hour and a half of time.
So if any of you need minor service or even have a question, I highly recommend IMing Jason. He can atleast give you some educated advice if not fix the problem.
Thanks again Jason...
