so a lady pulled out in front of me. i was goin southbound on mcclintock and this lady in a crv type little suv pulled out in front of me turning left across the southbound lanes, headed northbound. I was goin like 45-50 and jjust slammed on the brakes and nailed her driverside rear tire.

She won. It is her fault though.

I did a flip and landed on my ass. didnt get a scratch on my helmet. lil scrapes on my left leg only, broken left pinky, and broken right arm. worst part was i bashed my balls and groin so i looked so crippled tryin to walk.

im good now, 4th broken arm, ill be back in 6 weeks. now just need to figure out what bike im getting.

A lot of people get decent settlements out of those, as long as you are 0% at fault, you should have no problem getting some pain and suffering out of this.

Reasoning: If you have any legal knowledge you will know that all you get if you win is a piece of paper saying someone owes you money. Then it is all up to you to get the money... which if the person doesnt have... good luck. To get it through other routes only costs more money and time. Now think about it. Most lawyers are 200/hr minimum and require 10 hours of pay up front. Do the math, that is $2,000 + court fees, filing fees, serving fees, and your own personal time. So in the end most likely you will have a $2000+ lawyer bill, court fees and a piece of paper saying someone owes you money. Doesnt sound worth it to me considering the lady looked dirt poor and couldnt even speak english. So given those odds what would you do now? I would personally take what I got from insurance and RUN.
