Yeah so I went down yesterday. Was making a left hand turn into QT at 28th ave and Thunderbird. Waited for the light to turn red before committing to the turn since it is a busy intersection. Lady in the far right lane was slowing down to stop but as soon as I enter the intersection she gets on the gas. I lowside to avoid her and she slams on the brakes. I stopped about 3-5 feet from her car. Needless to say I almost ripped her face off instantly. I pick up my bike and another biker helps me push it out of the intersection as the lady reverses out of the intersection back to where she should have stopped. And what does she do, takes off when the light turns green. Didn't even ask me if I was ok. I called the cops but there is nothing I can do legally speaking cause we never made contact. Technically it was my fault for "failure to control my vehicle". Complete bullshit if you ask me. But its better than being hit. I am fine though. Scrapped knee and some bruises and swelling. Bike has about 300-400 worth of damage. So I am now looking for upper and left mid-fairing as well as a headlight casing. So if anyone comes across some let a brother know.

Found a new OEM upper pre-painted on ebay for $235 buyout. Is that a good deal?

if you want to go new thats probably a good deal but sometimes you can find used parts for alot cheaper that are pretty nice and look brand new if you have time to do that

Actually 5 mounting locations on the headlight assembly broke. I am going to jb weld em for a temp fix. The mid fairing is fixable as well. Only part that broke was the top mounting point. So all I need to purchase is the upper fairing. I am trying to get one before Saturday for the bikini bike wash. So if you know of one let me know rather soon on Monday otherwise Iw ill be buying this one off ebay if the guy will ship it second day to me.

He would have to order it so it would be faster to get the one you found.

At paint stores for automotive they have stuff called duramix, it is a two part epoxy and kinda pricey but strong as hell. You might check into it for your head light mounts.
