Price: keep it reasonable for what the bike is you guys know.

Would be really happy with an 06/07 GSXR at a good price.

i should have said i don't want anything bigger than a 600 and i don't want a honda, too uncomfortable.

I didn't have enough time in on the 600 to be even close to moving to a liter yet.

FWIW the 05' - up R6's are a little better, since they changed some things (ie Inverted forks). Keep an eye on the Cycle Trader, I just saw a red 04 R6 go for $5,000 :wow: I couldn't get to it quick enough, oh well.

P.S. Good call on keeping with a 600 for a while longer. Don't need anymore people getting injured or killed.

I know 05 and up is a little better but most people who have the 04's (Jerry, Justin, ect) seem to love them.

But i am looking on most sites. Keith had an idea i am going to see how that works out though.

Well, I am sorry for going off topic for another post, but why do you say your not ready for a litre bike??? If you rode for 4 months I would say you could handle a litre bike. Not too much differance in town (actually a litre bike has better manners in town due to TALL gearing) only place you feel the differance is in the top end... ie over 60mph

is that why people get their asses dumped (high sided) when their on the track, cause their up in the high rpms?

becuase i just don't need the power. i still wasn't going that fast in the twisties no need for a liter at any point. I can get in enough trouble with a 600. And while most of the extra power is higher rpm there is still more power down low than a 600 to make a mistake.

Also the liters have a higher CG and don't turn quite as well. If i'm not even close to getting the most out of the 600 in that area no need for a 1000.

I am sure i could ride one around just fine and keeping everything at a controlled pace but i just think the 600 is plenty to get me into trouble for now

I know you said no Hondas but the F4i is so comfortable and can handle pretty much anything.
